About the Software
Management of the Difficult Airway is an introductory tutorial computer program on CD-ROM with practical advice on preparation, recognition and management of the difficult airway in anesthesiology, emergency medicine and critical care. The program is organized like a book with chapters and pages and contains text, pictures, diagrams and digital video. The program runs on Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows Computers.
Management of the Difficult Airway was created by Thomas P. Engel, M.D., Richard L. Applegate, M.D., Deborah M. Chung, M.D. and Antonio F. Sanchez, M.D. with support from Cook Critical Care, A Division of Cook Incorporated.
System Requirements
Apple Macintosh or Power Macintosh computer with 8 MB RAM, 640 x 480 pixel display with 256 colors, CD-ROM drive, Apple System 7.1 and Apple QuickTime 2.0.
486 or Pentium PC-Compatible computer with 8 MB RAM, 640 x 480 pixel display with 256 colors, CD-ROM drive, Microsoft Windows 3.1 and Apple QuickTime for Windows 2.0.
