A World Society or Federation of Societies for Technology in Anesthesia has been formed to give individual members in regional societies an international presence in the field of technology in anesthesia. The goal is to reduce duplication of effort and communicate more effectively. To this end, each society plans to:

  1. Each society for technology in anesthesia is asked to link its own www internet page to the World Societies for Technology in Anesthesia home page. Each society is asked to reference the WSTA page on their own internet home page.
  2. Each society is requested to place their membership list (with e-mail addresses) on an internet site and grant password access to members of other societies of the federation, on a reciprical basis.
  3. Each society is asked to distribute newsletter material to other societies. Material can be sent to George Blike (George.T.Blike@dartmouth.edu) or Jeff Feldman (JMFeld@einstein.edu), who will redistribute it to all societies.
  4. Each society is asked to announce future meetings in a timely manner by placing the meeting title, date and location on the WSTA home page. A link will be made from the WSTA page Meeting Announcements page to the component societies own home page.
